Approvals
If you’re a manager or designated approver, requests that need your sign-off show up in My Approvals.
Reviewing what’s pending
Section titled “Reviewing what’s pending”The page opens on your Pending filter, which carries the current pending count in its own label. Each pending item is a card showing:
- The item’s reference number and, for a high-priority request, a High priority badge — items without elevated priority show no badge at all.
- The title of what’s being requested, and who it’s being requested for (a name, not necessarily you — approvers regularly act on requests submitted by someone else on their team).
- When it was submitted, and the amount if the item has a cost attached (items with no cost simply omit the amount rather than showing $0).
- A View request link that opens the full underlying request in case you need more context than the card gives before deciding.
A summary strip above the list totals three numbers: how many are awaiting your decision right now, how many you’ve approved, and how many you’ve rejected — the latter two counted for this session, so they reset the next time you come back with a clean slate.
Approving or rejecting
Section titled “Approving or rejecting”On any pending card, click Approve or Reject. Your decision takes effect immediately — no confirmation dialog interrupts you — the underlying request’s requested item moves forward on approval or stops on rejection, and a toast confirms which one you chose and for which item number. The card then disappears from Pending and reappears under Recent decisions, marked with the outcome you chose.
Recent decisions
Section titled “Recent decisions”Switch to the Recent decisions filter (it also carries its own running count) to review what you’ve already approved or rejected this session, each row marked with a colored icon and label for its outcome so you can scan the mix at a glance.
When there’s nothing waiting
Section titled “When there’s nothing waiting”If nothing is pending, the page shows an “all caught up” message — a checkmark, a short confirmation that you have no approvals outstanding, and a reassurance icon — instead of leaving you looking at an empty list with no explanation.
