Configuration Management DB

The Configuration Management DB (CMDB) is the system of record for an organization’s infrastructure: servers, applications, databases, network gear, and the business services they support. Other launchpads — such as AIOps’ impacted-services view — reference these configuration items (CIs) to connect an incident or alert back to the piece of infrastructure it affects. A Configuration Management DB dashboard summarizes the configuration item inventory.
