Getting started for administrators

This tutorial gives you a first orientation to the Admin area. It’s intentionally short — once you know your way around, the Administration section covers every module in depth.

  1. Sign in with your administrator account.
  2. In the icon rail on the side of the screen, select the gear icon at the bottom — this is Admin Home, the single entry point into administration.

Admin Home opens a launchpad of its own: a row of live counts (tables, users, roles, groups, ACL rules) followed by every administration module, grouped by concern. The same grouped list follows you as the secondary navigation wherever you go inside Admin.

  • System Definition — Tables & Fields, Choice Lists, and States & Workflow: the data model underneath every record.
  • Users & Security — the Security Center, the Roles/Groups/ACLs studio, and Access Control (ACL) Rules: who can see and do what.
  • Data — Data / Lookup Tables and Sample Data.
  • UI & Forms — Form Layout, List Layout, Dashboard Builder, and Catalog & Request Forms: how records and requests look to the people who use them.
  • Portals — Portals, Branding & Theme, Request Icons, Catalog Item Icons, Guided Tours, and the Virtual Assistant: the end-user-facing surfaces.
  • Notifications — email and SMS configuration.
  • AI & Automation — Flow Designer, AI Assist Governance, and Process Policy.
  1. Open Tables & Fields and pick any table to see its columns, types, and choices — this is the model every form and list is built from.
  2. Open Roles, Groups & ACLs to see how a role, a group, and an access rule combine to grant (or withhold) access to a table.
  3. Open Branding & Theme to see what an admin can change about how RezolveApp looks for your organization.
  4. Open Sample Data to see how a fresh table gets populated with realistic starter rows.

Head to the Administration section for the full reference: tables and fields, forms and lists, security and roles, branding and portals, notifications, and sample data.
