Personalization

RezolveIT keeps two kinds of personal settings separate: your Profile (who you are — name, contact details, and a couple of formatting defaults) and Preferences (how the interface behaves and looks for you).

1. Your profile

Open Profile from the avatar menu to edit your self-service record: First name, Last name, Business phone, Mobile phone, and Title on one side; Email, Date format, and Time zone on the other. Click Update to save — a confirmation banner shows once it goes through.

2. Preferences

Open Preferences from the avatar menu (or the gear wherever you see it) to reach the full panel. A search box at the top of its left-hand nav filters both the tab list and the options within a tab. The tabs are:

• Display — form and list layout, and compact spacing (density): turning this on tightens row height and field padding across the whole UI for a higher-density layout, and takes effect immediately.
• Theme — pick an accent palette for the launchpad chrome, and set Dark mode: a three-way control (Off, On, or Automatic). Automatic follows your device’s local time of day, switching to dark in the evening and back to light in the day, and re-checks periodically so it flips without a reload.
• Accessibility — universal-access options: high contrast (raises foreground/background contrast to meet WCAG AA for low-vision users), reduced motion, and link underlines.
• Notifications — channels (email, SMS, push) and per-event subscriptions.
• Favorites — your bookmarked records, lists, and pages.
• My Lists — personal list columns, sort, and saved filters.
• Delegation — hand off approvals, assignments, and notifications while you’re away.
• Launchpad — tab and side-panel behavior for the launchpad shell.
• Debugging — developer and troubleshooting toggles.
• Language & Region — covered below.
• User Experience — animations, onboarding tours, AI Assist behavior, and information density.

3. Language, including Hebrew (right-to-left)

Open Language & Region (from Preferences, or directly from the globe icon’s Language & Region link) to set:

• Interface language — pick English or עברית (Hebrew). Choosing Hebrew switches the whole layout to right-to-left immediately, not just the text — menus, forms, and navigation all mirror. You can also switch language quickly from the globe icon in the top bar without opening the full panel.
• Time zone — every timestamp is stored centrally and converted to your zone for display; the current UTC offset for your selection is shown alongside it.
• Regional format — the number and date convention (for example, which character separates thousands, and whether the month or day comes first).
• Date format — how much of a date and time to show: short (numeric), medium (abbreviated month), or long (full month with seconds).

4. Theme and density

Both are implemented and live under Preferences: Theme controls the accent palette and Off/On/Automatic dark mode described above, and Display’s compact-spacing toggle controls density (comfortable vs. compact row height and field padding). Both apply app-wide the moment you change them — no reload needed.
